Vaccination relief for certain groups of people
Intending to vaccinate each and everyone, the Health Department introduces specific plans
The Health Department has issued a new SOP to create "NEAR-TO-HOME COVID VACCINATION CENTRES" to ensure vaccination of people of old age and those who are different or specially abled. All individuals below 60 who fall in the category of co-morbid will avail vaccination here-itself.
Before the vaccination, the name of the recipient should be registered in the Cowin app.
Through this initiative, the people who have mobility issues will be able to avail vaccinations by visiting the vaccination centre nearest to their home.

The location of the vaccine camps will be non-health facility-based setting like community centres, panchayat houses, schools, retirement homes.

Proper Covid protocols and hygiene will be maintained at these sites.
The District Task Force will decide the location of these vaccination camps depending on the population of the vaccine recipients.
To maximize maximum population and to carry out a smooth vaccination procedure, these near-to-home vaccination centres will be linked to an existing CVC from where the CVC in charge will monitor the process by providing constant help, human resources, suggestion and guidance throughout the process.NGOs will be teaming up with the ADC of a district and the vaccination in charge to prepare a perfect plan and will execute that accordingly.
