The 'Y-Break' mobile application is a step towards good health

Union AYUSH Minister launches a special app during the celebration of 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'

The AYUSH Ministry has launched a special application called the 'Y-Break' application from the Vigyan Bhawan on 29 August 2021. In order to commemorate 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav', the Union AYUSH Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has launched this application. 
This app will provide a perfect yoga regime for busy people. This 25 MB app is completely ad-free and can be downloaded from the Google play store. Through this app, regular and necessary yoga is displayed through a short video of 5 minutes. 
'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' is a series of events, which are organized to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India's Independence.
Along with the yogas, it also mentions the timings to be invested in each yoga asana (posture) and what precautions need to be taken during performance of these yogas. 
The app is available both in English and Hindi. The Government of India has made a plan to promote this app at every workplace to ensure fitness and activeness among the people. This app also has the ability to count the heartbeats and calorie intake of a person. 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav' is a series of events, which are organized to commemorate the 75th anniversary of India's Independence.

Along with the inauguration of the app, a week-long program was held which included various activities like the cultivation of medicinal plants in farmlands, distribution of medicinal plants to the households and sensitization of schools and college-going students about the Ayush systems. 
Week-long activities and campaigns have started from 30 August which will continue up to the 5th of September. It includes reaching the remotest places in India and addressing people of all age groups and professions, ranging from children to the old and farmers to the corporates.
