Skimmed Milk: The healthy way to nutrients and toned body.

These days, people are becoming very conscious about their health. They choose their diet in a way through which they get maximum of good nutrients and great physic.

For most of us, milk is an important part of our daily diet. We can take milk in its raw form by slightly boiling it or at normal temperature.
Milk is a necessary agent in various eatables like milk tea, ice creams, curd, sweets etc.
Calcium and fat are the two main components of milk.
Depending on the procedure of their production and process, different kinds of milks are available  in the market.
Skimmed milk or skim milk is one of them.
Skimmed milk is sometimes consumed with the intention of reducing or limit calorie consumption. It has been argued that the reduction in calories keeps the body further from satiety, causing it to ultimately seek out the missed calorie.
It is made when all the milkfat is removed from the whole milk. It tends to contain 0.1% fat.

Skim milk is "nutrient-dense", meaning it provides a large dose of vitamins and minerals with very few calories. It is one of the richest food sources of calcium, providing around 300mg per cup.
Packed with several vitamin nutrients including calcium, vitamin A, phosphorus, vitamin D, vitamin B12 and the antioxidant selenium, skimmed milk is beneficial for cardiovascular health and weight management.
To make skim milk at home we need raw cow milk or non-homogenized whole milk, which has most of the fat. We can separate the fat by either boiling the milk or letting it sit for 24 hours in the fridge.
