The SARs-COV-2 virus since its onset in December 2019 has mutated into many strains wreaking havoc across the globe. The Delta variant or B.1.617.2 which believed to have driven the second wave has mutated into a new strain, Delta Plus, which is more transmissible and concerning being the most dominant strain till date. India begun to return back to normalcy, but new Delta and Delta Plus variants seem to pose a serious threat to human life.
