It was mentioned that in the last wave of Covid, several cases were admitted to the Kalapahar Covid care facility, which is under the administrative control of the GMCH.
"We discharged a baby from the pediatric ICU on Friday, and today there was no Covid case in GMCH. The baby turned Covid negative on Friday morning. For the first time, we spent a day without a single Covid patient at GMCH," Baishya said.
By Thursday the number of admitted Covid cases at GMCH had reduced to two. It was informed that an elderly Covid patient was shifted to a hospital ward from the ICU on Thursday and got discharged by night.
