New SOP issued regarding the start of offline classes

As per data by the Health and Family Welfare Department, Government of Assam and National Health Mission, a total of 321 new Covid-19 cases were detected on September 5, 2021. The positivity rate has reached 0.87% along with 6 deaths in the state in the same day.
A total of 1, 85, 07,520 people have taken both doses of Covid-19 vaccinations.
The Assam Government has constantly and carefully issued fresh SOPs after a certain period of time depending on the Covid situation in the state. As precautionary measures, various educational and a few other institutes were kept closed to restrict the spread of infection among the masses.
A single classroom will have the strength of 30 students and it has been strictly instructed to the educational institutions to increase the number of sections to accommodate all the students easily.The Assam Government has issued a new set of SOPs regarding the opening of the schools. As per the new guidelines, from September 6th, the classes till class 11 shall remain open.

There will be physical classes for final year students who will be appearing for their higher secondary exams in the next year. Along with that, classes of degree 6th semester, post-graduation 4th semester has been ordered to resume.
Students who stay in hostels have to be vaccinated with double doses whereas students who have taken only the first dose are permitted to be in the classes.
A single classroom will have the strength of 30 students and it has been strictly instructed to the educational institutions to increase the number of sections to accommodate all the students easily. Teachers of the junior section are permitted to carry on their online mode of classes.
