National Health Mission issues Japanese Encephalitis data

According to data published by NHM, Assam registers three death on August 6, 2022

Being the pioneer institution dedicated to serve the health sector of the country, the Assam chapter of the National Health Mission has issued the latest data regarding the number of Japanese Encephalitis cases in Assam. As per the data published by NHM, Assam on August 6, 2022, the state currently has 12 fresh cases of Japanese Encephalitis. One case each was reported from Cachar, Chirang, Goalpara, Hojai, Karbi Anglong, Nagaon, Tinisukia and Udalguri. Two cases each were reported from Dibrugarh and Kamrup Metro. Three deaths were reported from Nagaon.
According to the NHM Assam data, the cumulative total Japanese Encephalitis in this season (July onwards) till August 6, 2022, is 347.
According to the NHM Assam data, the cumulative total Japanese Encephalitis in this season (July onwards) till August 6, 2022, is 347. Similarly the cumulative JE deaths reported in this season (July onwards) till August 6, 2022 is 63.
