National Health Mission issues Japanese Encephalitis data
According to data published by NHM, Assam registers three death on August 5, 2022
Being the pioneer institution dedicated to serve the health sector of the country, the Assam chapter of the National Health Mission has issued the latest data regarding the number of Japanese Encephalitis cases in Assam. As per the data published by NHM, Assam on August 5, 2022, the state currently has 6 fresh cases of Japanese Encephalitis. One case each was reported from Bongaigaon, Darrang, Dima Hasao and Kamrup. Two cases were reported from Morigaon. Three deaths were reported from the state on the same day, one each from Tinisukia, Dima Hasao and Darrang.
According to the NHM Assam data, the cumulative total Japanese Encephalitis in this season (July onwards) till August 5, 2022, is 335.According to the NHM Assam data, the cumulative total Japanese Encephalitis in this season (July onwards) till August 5, 2022, is 335. Similarly the cumulative JE deaths reported in this season (July onwards) till August 5, 2022 is 60.
