National Health Mission issues Japanese Encephalitis data
According to data published by NHM, Assam registers zero death on August 2, 2022.
Being the pioneer institution dedicated to serve the health sector of the country, the Assam chapter of the National Health Mission has issued the latest data regarding the number of Japanese Encephalitis cases in Assam. As per the data published by NHM, Assam on August 2, 2022, the state currently has 10 fresh cases of Japanese Encephalitis. One case each was reported from Chirang, Goalpara, Hojai, Sivasagar and Tamulpur. Three cases were reported from Sonitpur and two from Kokrajhar. Zero death was reported from the state on August 2, 2022.
According to the NHM Assam data, the cumulative total Japanese Encephalitis in this season (July onwards) till August 2, 2022, is 315.According to the NHM Assam data, the cumulative total Japanese Encephalitis in this season (July onwards) till August 2, 2022, is 315. Similarly the cumulative JE deaths reported in this season (July onwards) till August 2, 2022 is 52.
