Mandaviya thanks PM Modi for Covid vaccination initiatives

Through a tweet, the Union Health Minister thanked the Prime Minister of India for all his dedicated efforts

The Union Health Minister of India, Mansukh Mandaviya took to his tweeter account to thank the nation's Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, under whose leadership, 130 crore Covid-19 vaccination has been completed in India. He said that the nation is getting upgraded in terms of health. It was highlighted that the central government has started the services of free dialysis in every district hospital.
Apart from that, Mandaviya through a tweet has informed that a high-level meeting was chaired along with the senior scientists of India regarding the XE variant. In the meeting, discussions were made about the new upcoming variants and the ways the nation can tackle it.
The XE variant is a recombinant of A mutation of BA1 and BA2 Omicron strains. According to WHO, it was first detected is at then January 19. When an individual becomes infected with 2 or more variants at the same time , resulting in the mixing of their genetic material within a patient's body, then it can be said that one is affected with this variant.

Other recombinants containing spike and structural protein from different virus families continue to emerge. That includes the XD subvariants, recently discovered in Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark.
