Special attention should be given to the food which we eat. Oily, red meat should be avoided. Intake of green leafy vegetables should be encouraged. As we equally give preference to the treatment of cardiovascular disease, so it is very important to ensure and control other health issues like thyroid, hypertension and diabetes.
It is very important to know and realize that heart ailments just don't start suddenly or automatically, there is always a pre-lying co-morbid condition for it. He highlighted that after a person is diagnosed with heart issues, it is very important to know the exact problem.
Then treatment can be started and it is the patient's responsibility to follow the suggestions and medication given by the doctor. Prevention and treatment go hand in hand.
