Hair loss after Covid: There is nothing to worry

Some of the significant causes of hair loss are mainly physical and emotional stress. Doctors say that a healthy person shed more than 50-100 hair every day.
In recent times, many of us have suffered from Covid. The people who have suffered from Covid will realise that they go through a phase of severe hair loss soon after becoming Covid negative or maybe after a few days of recovery. In many cases, this situation may even arrive after two months of Covid.
During Covid, hair fall is caused due by the attack of various viruses in our body.
Some of the primary causes of hair loss are mainly physical and emotional stress. Doctors say that a healthy person shed more than 50-100 hair every day.
Another important thing is that when people discover that they have been infected with Covid, stress automatically starts in the body, which causes hair loss. This condition is called TELOGEN EFFLUVIUM.

In a normal hair cycle, 50% of hair is generally in the resting phase, 10% is in the shedding stage, and the remaining 10% is in the growing stage. But whenever there is a viral infection in the body, that 50% gradually gets converted into the shedding phase. This condition might also come/ appear after 3/4 months, depending on the cycle.
To prevent post-Covid hair fall, it is advisable that one should eat more of a high protein diet, more Vitamin C and biotin supplements.
According to doctors, post-Covid hair fall is nothing to worry about as it's just due to the virus in the body.
