An initiative has been taken by the Union Government on February 1 in the fields of health. This unique initiative aims to deliver medicines to patients seeking medical consultation under the Services e-Health Assistance and Telecommunication (SeHAT).

This initiative aims in providing quality healthcare services to the patients from the comfort of their homes.
SeHAT was launched on May 27, 2021 as a part of the Government's commitment to Digital India and e-Governance.
As per sources, the home delivery will be started with the Base Hospital Delhi Cant followed by its extension to many more other states of the country.

This free application can be accessed by anyone by visiting https:/sehatopd.gov.in, or by using the SeHAT apps.
It is to be taken into consideration that during the Covid times, people have been benefitted by some other apps which provide telemedicine and teleconsultation services like Practo, Lybrate, Mfine.
