GNRC Hospital organises free health check-up camp

The pioneer hospital visited Promod Talukdar Memorial Old Age Home at Guwahati to provide free health check up

Established in the year 1987, Guwahati Neurological Research Centre (GNRC) is one of the leading hospitals in Guwahati. This pioneer health institution has spread its branches all across Assam. The dedicated medical facility which they have been providing makes them one of the best hospitals.
Since its birth, the hospital has been doing various activities like free health check-up camps, health awareness camps to benefit the society. The hospital has always been taking some unique initiatives from time to time to reach every section of the society.

To celebrate the whole month of September creating awareness about good heart health, the hospital has been conducting free health camps in various places since September 1. Cardiologists from the hospital have also taken the help of digital media to educate the masses.
It was in early September when the hospital conducted free health check-ups at two very special organizations in the city, which are 'Amar Ghar' and 'Destination'. Amar Ghar is a senior citizen's retirement home whereas Destination is a home for the person and children with special needs.

On 14 September 2021, GNRC conducted a free health check-up camp at the Promod Talukdar Memorial Old Age Home. Dr Arpita Panchal with the assistance of 2 nurses carried out the health camp. A total of 27 people were benefitted. Screening of blood pressure, sugar levels, heart (through ECG) were done. The people have been prescribed medications and investigations accordingly.
