GMCH authorities caution people about body pain

The senior health authorities at the Guwahati Medical College Hospital has made it clear to the public not to ignore some health issues, which are extremely common. It has been said that a simple pain in the stomach, gastric pain, headache, body ache can be a symptom of Covid.

The doctors of the pioneer medical college have come up with a conclusion after research that if someone experiences these health issues apart from the simple cold, running nose, flu and fever, then they should immediately go out to the testing centres.

It was also informed that the patients who were recently admitted to the hospital have shown negative results within four days and have been released from the hospital on the fifth day.

The Superintendent of Guwahati Medical Colleg, Dr Abhijit Sharma have spoken to the media on January 18 and pulled out the information regarding these new symptoms of Covid. It was highlighted that this year most of the covid patients did not suffer from fever and have suffered from these aches.
