Northeast's first health and wellness news portal, Fit Northeast Monday launched first of its kind digital mapping initiatives for Healthcare Institutions and Healthcare Professionals in the Northeast, namely Digital Video Portfolio Campaign.
This campaign is envisaged to bring all the Healthcare Institutes and Healthcare Professionals on the same digital platform to help increase operational efficiency and transparency. It will also make the Healthcare sector more accessible. This flagship initiative will empower the Healthcare institutions and professionals to transform towards the emerging concept called the "Digital Hospital of the Future".

This video portfolio will contain the name of the organization, registration number, business profiles, details of their services and departments available, fields of specialty, business experiences, location on the map and distances from various transit points contact details, insight from the MD or CEO, outside and interior view of the organization/building, inside walk-through coverage, testimonials etc.
This campaign is envisaged to bring all the Healthcare Institutes and Healthcare Professionals on the same digital platform to help increase operational efficiency and transparency.
On the other hand, the Health care Professional's Digital Video Portfolio will contain the name, registration number, personal profile, educational details, fields of their specialization, work experience, contact number, special achievements or awards received, professional memberships, testimonials etc.
Addressing the media, the founder of Fit Northeast, Sijo Jacob emphasized even though the health care sector in Assam is growing, there is a problem of accessibility to proper healthcare facilities.
"In this case, it can be said that Fit Northeast is the only healthcare application coming forward to bridge the gap between the common man and the healthcare institutions. Fit Northeast is the first health and wellness news portal in the entire Northeast started in August, 2020. Fit Northeast aims in providing holistic healthcare access to all along with bridging the gap in the health sector. Being a health care portal, it features news relating to health and interviews by various doctors and other people from the medical field, said Jacob.
In the recent past, the organization has carried out more than 6 Covid-19 vaccination camps under their CSR activities and more than 2000 people have been vaccinated through these camps. The organization is looking forward to many such events in the near future, he added.
