A Covid positive pregnant woman has delivered a healthy baby who is Covid negative at Jonai BPHC in Dhemaji district yesterday.

Debojani Kutum a 24 year old woman from Madhyalakhipur village under Junekareng PO delivered a healthy female baby weighing 3 kg at Jonai BPHC
The delivery was conducted by Staff Nurse Ujjayanti Pegu and ANM Dipali Kalita under the guidance of Dr K K Kaman SDM & HO Jonai and Dr M M Agarwal M & HO-1 , Jonai BPHC.
Both the mother and newborn are in stable condition and the newborn tested negative for Covid. This is the fifth covid positive pregnant case successfully delivered at Jonai BPHC.Image: The baby with the ANM
