In a world, where civilization is far-reaching of savages in its advancing technologies, human seems to lag to the times of barbarians in their approaches towards handling these easies introduced for smart living.

The simplistic satisfying example to fetch this support is the covid-19 pandemic news that's flooding social media today, where 50% of it is to manipulate the naive minds.
When the fear caused is enough by the dreadful situation itself, some mongers add fuss to the already worried mind.
Humans' psychology takes no time to be disturbed or become subjects of manipulation. In the deem of time, the fake remains in mind, while we ignore the truth.
