The increased cases of Covid in these districts of Assam are increasing the chances of complete lockdown. According to the management authorities, the main reason behind this widespread is the lack of awareness, which results in not using a mask and not following Covid protocols. Most people are seen coming out for evening walks or on cycle rides even after the curfew hours.
Keeping in mind the security of the students during the Covid times, a significant decision was announced. The education minister, after having a discussion with the AASU, APSU, Assam Sahitya Sabha, and SEBA Board, today at Janata Bhavan, announced the cancellation of HS and HSLC examinations.
In the meeting, the minister said that the lives of the children and students matter to everyone. The minister even announced that the marks would be evaluated on the basis of their performance in their classes. The results will be declared soon to enable them to make preparations for the upcoming entrances and admissions in the month of August.
