DNA Vaccines to be Manufactured in India soon

The Union Health Minister spreads a sense of relief among parents having children under the age of 18

The Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has expressed his concern regarding the issues of children's safety during the third wave of Corona Virus. 
Mandaviya said that as it was seen that the children survived both the first and the second wave, so it would not be correct for us to think that the third wave might affect them. 
Mandaviya said that Zydus Cadila has applied for Emergency Use Authorization for its Covid-19 vaccine and Hydrabad-based Biological E will enter the market with 7.5 crore doses by September-October.
He assured that children will soon get vaccinated as the trials are going on. Soon after getting the norms from the Drug Controller General of India, India will be the first country in the world where scientists will develop a DNA vaccine.

Responding to a short duration discussion in the Rajya Sabha, Mandaviya said, "Cadila has completed third phase trial of its DNA vaccine and has applied for emergency use authorisation before DCGI (Drugs Controller General of India). Our expert team is looking into it. When this will come in the market, India will be the only country where scientists have developed a DNA vaccine".
