Covid cases show a slight dip in numbers in Assam
National Health Mission give a detail report about number of Covid cases and vaccination detail in the state
Amid the fear of Omicron in Assam, there is news of relief for the people from this half of the country. The National Health Mission have come up with reports which exhibit a fall in Covid cases in Assam.
On Wednesday, there was an over 53% fall in the daily Covid cases as compared to the previous days.
The state currently has 36,063 active cases which include 422 in Kamrup Metro, 139 in Jorhat, 91 in Lakhimpur and 87 in DibrugarhOn Wednesday, 19,803 people submitted their samples for testing and the positivity rate in the state has increased to 9.85%. With a decrease of over 1700 Covid cases, the state recorded 4189 cases on Tuesday.

The state currently has 36,063 active cases which include 422 in Kamrup Metro, 139 in Jorhat, 91 in Lakhimpur and 87 in Dibrugarh.
Reports by the National Health Mission shows that a total of 4,09,78,311 vaccines have been administered in the state so far which includes 2,31,07,805 first doses and1,77,42,536 second doses and 1,27,970 precautionary doses.
