This report will present a brief about the current covid situation in the country along with an idea of restrictions and lockdowns
As per a report from the central government, the coronavirus cases on today's date figures to 3,46,759. The country witnessed 2,677 today. Till 8 AM today, India recorded over 1.14 lakh cases in the last 24 hours.
The country's total infection can be measured over 2.88 crores, which is the lowest spike of daily cases in the last two months. Speaking about the vaccination, the Union Health Minister said that the country has more than 1.63 crore doses available.
On Saturday, speaking about restrictions and lockdowns, the Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal, announced plans and measures to unlock the city. He further added that metro and offices would continue with 50% of attendance.
Mumbai lockdown also extended by 15 days. All essential shops will remain open from 7 to 11 AM.

The government in Tamil Nadu, Himachal Pradesh and Goa have extended their restrictions up to the 14th.

In order to restrict the spread, both Tamil Nadu and Himachal Pradesh government have announced the cancellation of their state board exams for class 12.
Odisha government announces lockdown till June 17.
Cases in the Northeastern parts of India have relatively gone down as a result of the restrictions and the curfews imposed. All the government and private offices have been declared closed till June 15.
