The Central Ayurveda Research Institute (CARI), Guwahati organised a Free Health Camp at Bamundi in Barpeta with the help of Ayurvedic Health Centre at Na Satra. The team of doctors from CARI was led by Dr. Ekta, Research Officer; Dr. Jeuti Rani Das, Research Officer; Dr. Pravin Masram, Research Officer and Dr. Atika, SRF at CARI. More than 200 patients were consulted by the expert team of Ayurvedic doctors at the camp.
The team also distributed Samsamani vati and Aswagandha Ghanavati to people in order to boost their immunity against any disease.The camp was aimed at providing healthcare support to the people affected by the floods. For the benefit of the people, several pathological tests like Blood sugar, Haemoglobin, etc were conducted free of cost.
