Fit Northeast had a conversation with a senior psychiatrist, Dr. Bhaskar Sarma Neog about how to come up with the negative vibes at the workplace. Talking to Fit Northeast, Dr. Neog said that stress is something that is a very intimate part of every workplace. But still, there are a few things in our hands, which will help us be fine in midst of all the tension in the offices.
The first is the capacity to "Let Go". Dr. Neog added that there are many things/ comments which can be avoided or ignored, should not be given much attention.
"Since tensions and mental abuses are a part of most workplaces, colleagues play an important part in sharing and easing the emotional pain or mental trauma one goes through. It is very important for every person to have faith in themselves as it will keep in motivating them to bring out their best at their workplaces," he said. Image: Representative image
He added that if sometimes one goes through extremes of mental or any kind of abuse, they should be strong and boldly face the issue instead of being silent and feeling guilty.
"Another thing which is very important is to take breaks in between works and recharge the mind after a certain interval. Dr. Neog said that every person has the key in their own hand and they know how they can do it in the best way. So they should always do things in their way as per their comfort. They should have a clear focus," Dr. Neog pointed out.
