Ayush Ministry issues new dietary guidelines

The Ministry of Ayush has always been a guiding light for a healthy and happy life. The 'AYUSH' which includes Ayurveda, Yoga, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa and Homoeopathy mainly aims in educating the masses, carrying out research and propagations of indigenous alternative medicine systems in India.
At times, the Ministry of Ayush issues various guidelines for the benefit of people.
Recent guidelines issued by the Ministry of Ayush recommend the judicious diet plan for the maintenance of the well-being of everyone. It says that during this period of a pandemic it is extremely important for us to have a healthy and nutritious diet so that we can prepare our bodies to fight against any kind of infection.
Along with that, it also suggested that people to try out Besan-Suji pancake.

According to Namita Bora, a dietitian from Guwahati says that suji is a rich source of iron. It helps in increasing the production of the red blood cells in the body, which in turn can prevent a person from anaemia.
Besan, on the other hand, reduces the risk of cardiovascular diseases. It protects the heart and also keeps body weight under control.
It is added that the oil which is used while making the pancake is very important. Olive oil is always good as it's very light and at the same time, nutritious. The oil which is used also affects the heart, so a good choice should be made while making a choice.
