AYUSH Minister Sarbanada Sonowal launches campaign

Efforts from all directions are being poured to make the 'Poshan Mass' successful

The entire nation is celebrating the 'Poshan Maas' in various ways. This month of September is dedicated to eradicating malnutrition from India.
Union Minister of Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal on September 4 launched a campaign. Under this campaign, the minister distributed prophylactic medicines at the National Institute of Ayurveda in Jaipur.
This campaign is a part of the 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'. Along with the medicines, a written guideline on a good diet was also given to the people.
Further, under this campaign, Giloy Ghan Vati and Ashwagandha Ghan Vati will be distributed among 75 lakh people in India with priority on the senior citizens and the frontline workers.

The kits of the medicines and guidelines were being prepared by Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Medicines.
This campaign is a year-long campaign that will come to an end in August 2022.
During this event, Sonowal even visited the NIA hospital and interacted with the staff and students.
