Assam to lift night curfew , withdraw Covid -19 restriction

" Students appearing in the exam must be fully vaccinated", said Chief minister Dr Sarma.

Assam chief minister Dr. Himanta Biwa Sarma on Monday while addressing media said that in the wake of declining of Covid -19 cases in the state , Assam government has decided to lift night curfew from February 15 and Covid 19 restriction would also be withdrawn. 
" There will be no night  curfew in Assam from February 15 and all Covid -19 restrictions will also be lifted", said Dr. Sarma. 
The chief minister said that class 10 and class 12 standard examination would be held in the state next month. " Students appearing in the exam must be fully vaccinated", said the Chief minister. 
It was mentioned that if time and situation demands, the examination boards might issue any instruction a few days prior to the exams
Though Assam government would lift the curfew in view of decling number of Covid cases in last few weeks , the state government make it mandatory for the use of face mask and sanitizer.

The shopping malls and cinema halls will shortly open with a 100% capacity and will permit the entry of people who have taken both their Covid-19 vaccines.
Only double vaccinated people have been given permission to attend any kind of gathering, meeting, marriage party or funeral. If someone wishes to attend marriage overnight, then they have to be double vaccinated.
