Assam receives revised set of Covid SOP, cinema hall allowed to open
Issued by the government of Assam, the new set of SOP gives a lot of relaxation to the fully vaccinated people
Taking into account the improving Covid situation in the state, the Assam Government has issued a set of fresh SOPs. This revised SOP was announced by the state health minister Keshab Mahanta on Friday in Majuli.
According to the new SOP, the curfew timing is from 10 PM to 5 AM. All the workplaces, shops and business establishments have permission to remain open till 9 PM. In case of any public meeting, only 50 and fully-vaccinated people will be permitted. In the case of marriage, 200 people who are fully vaccinated will be permitted to attend.
As per data from the Health and Family Welfare Department of Assam, 303 new Covid-19 cases were detected across the state as of October 1, 2021. Three people lost their lives and the positivity rate was logged at 0.64%.Cinema halls will be re-opened and will accommodate with 50% capacity and all the audience must have both the Covid-19 jabs. The same is the case for teachers and students.

Even they have to be fully vaccinated to attend a school or educational institution. It has been strictly ordered by the head of the institution to hang a banner in front of the institution stating that it is safe as all are vaccinated.
