Assam Government issues new SOP

Keeping in mind the current covid situation in the state, the government is still adhering to some restrictions

The Assam Government has issued a new SOP regarding Covid-19. As informed by the Government of Assam on June 13, the number of Covid cases has declined in many districts of Assam. Those districts include Chirang, Darang, Dhemaji,Hojai, Hailakandi, Kamrup Rural,Kamrup Metro and Jorhat.
Goalpara and Barpeta recorded more than 1000 infected cases in the last ten days.
Cases are still at a rise in Dibrugarh, Tinsukia, Nagaon, Biswanath and Cachar.
The inter-district transportation is still not permitted and will remain closed for the upcoming few upcoming months.
According to the new SOP, there are chances of relaxation at the places where condition are improving. From June 16, the will be relaxation in the lockdown process as well.

The timing of the curfew will start from 4 PM to 5 AM. So, according to this calculation, offices might get closed by 2/3 PM.

The government has passed an order for all those government employees who have received their second dose of vaccination. The employees are asked to resume their work from June 14.
