Assam Crossed 1 Crore Vaccinations: Chief Minister

Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the State has reached one crore vaccination coverage and termed it as"good news".

The Chief Minister took on to twitter last night and stated, "There is some good news amid crisis. Happy to share that Assam has reached 1 cr (10 million) vaccination. Gratitude to Hon'ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi for having ensured adequate vaccine doses to State."

Dr Sarma also complimented the doctors and healthcare staff for "a sterling job".

It has been reported that India's Cumulative COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage exceeds 44.61 Cr till date. More than 40 Lakh vaccine doses have been administered in the last 24 hours. The recovery rate stands at 97.39% while 43,654 new cases reported in the last 24 hours.
