Assam CM launches ICU at Majuli Civil Hospital

The Numaligarh Refinery Limited, under its CRS activity plan, has tried to help the residents of Majuli in every possible way.

Assam chief minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday inaugurated a 5-bedded ICU at the District Civil Hospital in Majuli.
The residents of Majuli had a long-cherished dream to have a well-equipped ICU for better treatment of the patients. The health officials from Majuli requested a helping hand from the Numaligarh Oil Refinery.
The officials from the refinery readily agreed to offer help and donated a five bedded ICU worth Rs One Crore. The resident of Majuli informed that they have always received support from the Numaligarh Refinery Limited.

It may be mentioned that earlier the refinery has donated a speed boat ambulance which has been extremely beneficial for the general public.
The refinery authorities have also donated five mini dumpers to clear the solid waste. Along with the mini dumper, an ambulance was also donated during the Covid times to the authorities of the Majuli District Administration.
