Another vaccination camp by Fit Northeast successfully concludes

Fit Northeast hits a success after inoculating 140 beneficiaries with Covid-19 vaccines in a single day

Fit Northeast in collaboration with the Department of Health and Family Welfare Assam conducted its fourth Covid-19 vaccination camp on 4th September 2021. This camp was organized at Dakshin Barsajai Maidam Durga Mandir at Lalmati area in Guwahati.
Prior to the start of the camp, 20 vials of Covid-19 vaccines were collected from the Dispur State Dispensary at Last Gate area after it was being approved by Dr Ajay Lahkar. In this vaccination camp, Covishield vaccines were given to people above the age of 18 years.
Among the 20 vials, 14 of them were used to inoculate 140 beneficiaries who visited the vaccination camp. At the end of the camp, 6 vials had to be returned back to the dispensary.

A total of 63 people took their first dose of Covid-19 vaccines, which included 46 males and 17 females.
Among the 20 vials, 14 of them were used to inoculate 140 beneficiaries who visited the vaccination camp. At the end of the camp, 6 vials had to be returned back to the dispensary.
Similarly, a total of 77 people took the second dose of Covid-19 vaccine including 44 males and 33 females. 
The ANM who vaccinated the people in today's camp was Ms Popi Das. Talking to Fit Northeast, Ms Popi Das said that she was happy to get a chance to work with Fit Northeast. She mentioned that the camps which were organized by Fit Northeast received a positive response from the people which was a good sign. She was also satisfied because she could vaccinate a good number of people. Before ending the conversation, she thanked the members of Fit Northeast for their co-operation and dedication towards their service to society.
Our reporter approached a beneficiary named Jebin and asked her how she felt after getting vaccinated. Jebin said, "The concept of Fit Northeast is very unique to Assam. I feel glad that they are doing so good work in the health line. The camp has also been organized in such a disciplined manner and the biggest part is that the process of registration is so easy here." Jebin expressed her hope that Fit Northeast would bring positivity and wished good luck.

Another beneficiary Mr Harpal Singh said that he was extremely grateful to know that this vaccination camp was being organized in association with the Department of Health and Family Welfare. He even took the opportunity to thank Fit Northeast for conducting the vaccination camp.
