A unique initiative taken by Board of Secondary Education and IIIT

It is true that this age is technology-driven, it is time to make education digitalized

It is for the first time when the Board of Secondary Education Assam (SEBA) and the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) have tied up for a noble cause.
Unitedly they will be preparing and publishing books on computer education, which will be included in the school curriculum.
Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu inaugurated an online training session on computer education for computer teachers. Along with that, a book on Computer Education was also released.
The minister took to his Twitter account to express his happiness over the teaming-up of the IIIT and SEBA for the betterment of the student. The minister is very positive and feels that it would help the students.

An online portal has also been launched by Pegu which will maintain the records of the marks of the students obtained by them in their half-yearly and annual examinations.
This is an initiative to make education digitalized. It was a few months ago when some NGOs distributed android mobile phones among the students from the BPL category to support their online education during the Covid period.
